We're believers too. We understand church culture, and we know safety training doesn't have to feel like a raid on Sunday morning. Our lead instructor brings 30 years in law enforcement, active SWAT team experience, and service as former Vice President of the Ohio Tactical Officers Association - backed by an instructor team with decades of combined law enforcement and tactical experience.

Church safety and security training equips volunteer and staff safety teams with the tactical knowledge and hands-on skills to protect their congregation during a violent or high-risk situation, including threat recognition, response protocols, and de-escalation.
No. Courses are built for everyday church members serving on a safety team, not just law enforcement professionals. Instructors break training down so it's accessible regardless of your background.
Both. Courses are open to pastors, staff, and volunteer safety team members - anyone your church has asked to help keep the congregation safe.
Serving Protectors is based in Ohio and hosts courses at churches across Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, New York, and Texas, and can travel to host a class at your location nationwide.

Yes. Serving Protectors travels to host on-site training for your team - fill out the Host a Class form and we'll follow up to plan it.
Yes. Serving Protectors is led by instructors who are believers themselves, so training doesn't feel disconnected from your church's values or like a disruption to your ministry.
No. Anyone is welcome to attend our training courses, whether or not you're part of a church.
